When Sarah and Marc came to me they wanted someone they could trust and feel comfortable around. Sarah's first words were ‘I hate having my photo taken’ which as a photographer you never like to hear. My main concern was to keep them relaxed and put them at ease before their wedding had even started.

Shortly after booking we organised a pre-wedding shoot in Westminster; this provided Sarah and Marc with a collection of images they loved, as well as giving them an insight into how I work.

Here Come the Girls

Here Come the Girls

Bridal Prep is such an important part of the day to photograph, the emotions are always so high.  Sarah was surrounded by her close family and best friends who all played a helping hand in getting her to the ball on time!

A shot from above as Sarah is having her eye make up allied while she prepares for wedding day . The image has a unique and interesting take on traditional wedding photograph.
Silk and lace Bridal High heels placed on top of her wedding dress, the sweep of the dress pulls you down to the shoes
Mother of the Bride and bridesmaid are doing the back of sarah’s wedding dress up, the hands create beautifully lead in lines that draw you into the photo
Just before Sarah left to travel to Dale Hill we had a few minutes to capture some bridal portraits, I love how the colour and tone of her bouquet compliments the warmth and tone of the day.

The Guys

The Guys

The importance of a second photographer really shines through from the quantity of quality images I am able to provide to my clients. By having two of us we are able to cover events that overlap: while I am photographing formals, James is able to shoot all your guests at the reception, making sure no moment is missed.

Dave the best man and his brother trying to do up cufflinks
A group photo of all the groomsmen in Marc’s parents back garden with the page boy
A Portrait of marc looking very smart and handsome before he leaves to go to dale hill

'Having a 2nd photographer really helped us to be able to share in each others mornings, seeing how calm (or not!) the other was, these have become some of our favourite photos.'  -  Marc

Marc was nervously awaiting the arrive of his beautiful bride, but once Sarah arrived these nerves quickly turned into smiles and laughter shared by all. By having two photographers we were able to capture a large variety of angles and images telling the true story of the day..

The first time sarah and marc face each other on their wedding day, the elation is captured on both their faces.

Just the Two of them

Just the Two of them

I work with every couple to make sure there is a good portion of time set aside to allow us to create a variety of portraits of just the two of them, these are some of Marc and Sarah’s favourite images that they picked out to help tell the story of their day.

The speeches were full of emotional ups and downs, with embarrassing stories and a few shocking surprises! I was able to capture the reactions from Marc and Sarah’s guests to help tell the story of the day. I eagerly watch for reactions from family members to capture the energy and feeling of the day.

Let's Get the Party Started

Let's Get the Party Started

Having entertainment such as a magician for your guests is a great way to keep everyone amused while you have some additional time for your portraits. My second photographer James was able to capture the reactions; these make for great emotive and natural photos of your guests.

The father of the groom is reacting to the magicians tricks and he fools him and his family
Dave the best man is caught in surprise and amused with the talents of the magician
One of the guests is in absolute shock and disbelief from the sleight of hand tricks in the evening
An image from marc and Sarah’s first dance, some confetti was thrown over them as they started too dance as they were not able to have a confetti shot due to the rain.
The bride is dancing with her father, this happened just after her first dance with her husband
Sarah is hugging her family as things get very emotional for her and her dad.
The Bride and Groom invite the guests onto the dance floor to join them as they dance the night away

The Night Goes On

All my packages have a full coverage of your day; this means I capture your first dance whatever the time it is! I then stick around to capture the drinking, dancing and debauchery that follows!

She continues to celebrate their wedding as the night goes on, with her hands in the air the party never stoops
All the guys are signing as loud as they can, as they pull gran onto the dance floor
Everyone is still on the dance floor as the night goes on, the bride is in the middle with everyone surrounding her singing and dancing
Couples are together dancing and singing as the night goes on
One of the children picks up a hat from the photobooth and jumps into the middle
The shenanigans, drinking and dancing continues well into the night
